ONRequest Portal Project
My involvement with ONRequest spans two separate contracts over four years. The first built the platform from the ground up; the second returned to finish what the original timeline couldn't accommodate. Each phase had its own scope, constraints, and design mandate, which is why they live as separate reviews here.Phase 1 - A near 0-1 redesign of a decade-old government portal, delivered in under a year. ONRequest is the Ontario Public Service's internal portal for ordering products and services, essentially an internalized "Amazon" for government employees, formerly SODO (Service Order Desk Online).
